[0:11 – 0:43] SPEAKER_00: so everyone this is being recorded this will be sent to you right after so if you have to hop early no worries we’ll be able to still get you taken care of so without further ado I’m going to goahead and share my screenmake sure it’s working I noticed that we have a couple of internal people on the screen share or on the webinar right now if for some reason this cuts out or quits working, just let me know so that we can get that all fixed. But what I want to talk about today, kind of a handful of things. So I really want to make sure that we have everyone kind of on board with the new self-service stuff that we’re creating. We want to talk a little bit about, you know, dealer fees and what’s going on there with the Fed and the interest rates and

[0:43 – 1:00] SPEAKER_00: inflation and everything we’re dealing with. We want to go into some of the new reporting we have and some general kind of housekeeping, some resources we’re coming out with, and then direct design, SunPixel, and some kind of in-proposal tools and features that we’ll go ahead and use. So we’re going to kind of dive into it all. I’ll move pretty quickly through this.

[1:01 – 1:24] SPEAKER_00: Like I said, if you have any questions or want me to slow down, feel free just to throw that in thequestion section and I’ll make sure to get that doneSo first things first, I want to dive into SunPixel. So SunPixel is a super duper exciting new production engine that we have. So you’ll see here that we’ve got this link and I’m going to quickly drop this into the chat so that You guys have this link as well.

[1:25 – 1:38] SPEAKER_00: So there’s the link for the new SunPixel page that we’re looking at right now. So the biggest thing about this is that we have a lot of feedback as a company, which is, you know, to say we want to make sure our designs are as accurate as they can possibly be.

[1:38 – 1:52] SPEAKER_00: You know, obviously shading, looking out for obstructions, fire setbacks, fitment. It’s all about making sure that all of those things are taken care of so that when you have a proposal and you’re sitting there with the homeowner, you’re able to accurately pitch the production, the fitment, and you’re not going to have to worry about change.

[1:52 – 2:28] SPEAKER_00: orders or, you know, the reselling. We have to resend a contract with a client or a homeowner, which is one of the worst things. So with this, we have SunPixel. So SunPixel is a brand new way for Solo to actually get high quality, dense pixel, excuse me, imagery where we can reconstruct the home in 3D and then we can run the sun around it 365 days of the year. Every 30 minute interval, we’re getting that data back. So what that means for you is you’ll have a perfect constructed 3D home on the back end where we will be able to run the sun around that home. And if I click on play,

[2:28 – 3:01] SPEAKER_00: you can kind of see how it works. We’ll be able to run the sun over the home and see exactly how shade is affecting that every half an hour of every day of the entire year. So we’ll get leafs on, we’ll get leafs off, we’ll get all of that information and we’ll overlay that in a sun pixel overlay for you where you can actually see those shading factors and see which is, you know, the best spot or the worst spot to put panels. And so this new technology is now on for every single company on our platform. What we’re doing now is we’re double checking image quality. We’re

[3:01 – 3:28] SPEAKER_00: double checking how fast we can construct these 3D models on the back end. And so as we get better and better with our new technology, you’ll see more and more jobs coming to you with this Sun Pixel icon in the top right. And so as we kind of get better at it, you’ll see more and more total job counts coming through with the sun pixel production on it. And that means that it is just an ultra accurate production and an ultra accurate shading factor that you’ll have here on theproposal.

[3:28 – 3:49] SPEAKER_00: with that, we also were just recently validated as 97% accurate by DNV. Now, DNV is a large third party, you know, kind of they deal with all kinds of renewables and energy suppliers around the globe, but they have a section or sector of their business that actually will take tons of data in from different design companies.

[3:50 – 4:00] SPEAKER_00: They’ll run all of these tests on it and then give you an accuracy or a production validation number. So we gave them 2,000 different jobs to check and run through all their statistical analyses and figure out.

[4:00 – 4:29] SPEAKER_00: And that’s when they came back with a 97% validated accuracy. So we’re really, really excited about the direction of solar with the accuracy and what SunPixel can do for those we work with and really the homeowners that we’re selling solar or two as an industry, making sure that the production works for them and that it’s accurate to what it’s going to do so that it’s a better experience for everyone. So we’re super, super excited about SunPixel. I do quickly want to go into this edit option and show you direct design.

[4:29 – 4:42] SPEAKER_00: I did cover direct design on the last webinar, so I don’t want to spend a lot of time on it this time, but I do know that there are people that still don’t know about it, and we also have some new upcoming features with this where we will be able to implement fire setbacks.

[4:43 – 4:53] SPEAKER_00: So looking at this here in the top left, you’ve got this toggle on and off, and this will give you the ultimate ability to click on an array, and then you’ll be able to actually open up your azimuth.

[4:54 – 5:04] SPEAKER_00: This will give you a quick thing that says, hey, we’ve used 3D imagery, very sophisticated computer vision technology to figure out the azimuth tilt shade and production of this home.

[5:04 – 5:17] SPEAKER_00: If you change this as solo, we’re saying that’s not a good idea. It’s sun pixel verified data. It’s not a good idea to change it. But if you want to, you can click I understand, let’s continue, and you can adjust those factors.

[5:18 – 5:32] SPEAKER_00: Again, I don’t believe it’s a good idea. Solo doesn’t believe it’s a good idea. It’s been verified by the most advanced imagery that we could possibly find. This is going to be right. So I wouldn’t change it, but like everything else with Solo, it’s entirely up to you what you want to do.

[5:33 – 5:44] SPEAKER_00: Tilt you can change and shade you can change as well. Now, on top of that, you can also change how this array looks and works. So say I wanted to grab the array and move it. I can actually do that now and reposition those items.

[5:45 – 5:58] SPEAKER_00: I could grab specific panels and move those, kind of line them up a little bit better with the array down there if I wanted to. Or I can click on my minus button and actually click and drag, and you’ll notice that it’s red instead of blue when I click and drag.

[5:58 – 6:14] SPEAKER_00: So this one’s blue, meaning I’m safe and I’m just going to move. This one’s red, meaning I am not safe and I’m going to delete. If you delete, that’s totally fine. You can click on your plus button, and then you can click and drag and design an entirely new array in a matter of seconds.

[6:14 – 6:28] SPEAKER_00: Click Save, and you’re done. You’ve redone your proposal. So brand new tools, really, really great. This is just giving me this code because I haven’t refreshed this demo in a while. But you’ll see that it saves it on your proposal, and you’ll be able to actually adjust all of those in real time now.

[6:29 – 6:46] SPEAKER_00: Now, the big announcement here is that we are going to start implementing fire setbacks that will restrict your reps from breaking fire codes that you don’t want them to break. And so you can now roll this tool out to the rep level, and they can have more control over how to do that, knowing that your fire setbacks and restrictions are going to be protected.

[6:46 – 6:58] SPEAKER_00: So it will just give you another level of control and accuracy and really dynamic functionality within that proposal in real time. Now, I want to jump back into this. I’m going to jump over to the questions section really quick.

[6:58 – 7:09] SPEAKER_00: Um, so, uh, because there is a question here about some pixel from Jeremy. Uh, so it doesn’t map out and model every tree, only some, it does map out and model every tree in every obstruction.

[7:09 – 7:19] SPEAKER_00: So if we’re talking about, um, some pixel, it’s going to find all of the trees, all of the obstructions, and it’s going to make sure that we have those mapped out in a home where you can see more of the trees.

[7:19 – 7:36] SPEAKER_00: And there’s other samples that I can kind of put, put on the, uh, the screen here. Um, like this, this home, for example, and I’ll zoom in. If this one were run by SunPixel, you would see both this tree and this tree on that 3D model in real time, and you’d be able to actually see how the shade from that tree will affect it.

[7:37 – 7:50] SPEAKER_00: So we call that our tree skate technology, and that tree skate technology, you can actually see right here. It will show the trees and every obstruction and how they affect the production. So that is all taken care of and all accounted for.

[7:50 – 8:02] SPEAKER_00: And if you do want to see even more videos, you can always go to solo certified dot com. If you don’t know about this site, solo certified dot com. This is an awesome site that we’ve spent a ton of time on.

[8:02 – 8:14] SPEAKER_00: I’ll go ahead and put that in there. That is a full training site. And just to quickly show you how to navigate it, because it’s played out in my opinion. Well, I also work here and I know all these things.

[8:14 – 8:32] SPEAKER_00: And unfortunately, I’m the guy in all the videos. But I know sometimes approaching a new website, having the menu kind of laid out helps a little bit. So getting started up here, this will just give you kind of logging in, changing your password, how to upload your profile picture, and a few other kind of general housekeeping things.

[8:32 – 8:48] SPEAKER_00: And then what you can do is under Proposal Dynamics right here, this will show you the general proposal. So how to use the features, editing incentives, checking shade factors, how you kind of use all of those items, How do your payment and loan options work?

[8:48 – 9:01] SPEAKER_00: And then you’ll have request service, sharing and view options. And then that’s the end of this page. So you’ll be able to see kind of all of them broken up. Platform features. This is updating and editing the customer proposal.

[9:01 – 9:11] SPEAKER_00: So you can see that here, updating the PIN, requesting the proposal, updating customer info once you have the proposal, requesting a revision. So these are all built in.

[9:11 – 9:23] SPEAKER_00: And then new releases. This is where you can always check back, and our most recently released features will always be here. And then self-service, which we’re going to dive into right now, this will have all of the self-service options.

[9:24 – 9:35] SPEAKER_00: And like I said, we’ll take this one live, but this, of course, has those videos for you of how to use the different self-service. And then webinars, this one today will be recorded, popped up on this site for you to be able to come back and view any time.

[9:36 – 9:50] SPEAKER_00: If you click on one, it’s going to show you kind of a synopsis of what’s going on, who’s on it, and how it can help you. So this site, again, solo certified, has a ton of information. We are going to keep building this out for you so that there’s more and more added for you.

[9:50 – 10:16] SPEAKER_00: So this is kind of jumping into self-service. And Jeremy I hope that answers your question that we do take the trees and everything into effect The self is something we super excited about So if you are a sales rep one thing you may not understand is that with Solo almost every account has either a technical account manager, a strategic account manager, or a proposal support team assigned to it.

[10:16 – 10:47] SPEAKER_00: And when the company owner or the sales director or the proposal manager needs to make an update to a proposal or to the template within Solo, they simply give us a call or shoot us a text or send us an email and say, I need X, Y, and Z change to this. We’ll make that change, send back a staging link, they’ll approve it, and then we push it live for everyone. So this has been really great, but what we’re finding is that a lot of feedback from clients is that they want to make all of those adjustments themselves to the template so that you as sales reps can get those changes quicker,

[10:47 – 11:19] SPEAKER_00: and company owners and admins, who we call operators, operators are able to make those changes themselves in half the time all here in the solo portal. So, so far we’ve rolled out the ability to edit your finance options and then coming up later this month we’ll have your panels and inverters and then we’ll get into adders. We’ll look at the proposal theme where you can actually change colors, images, pages, and more and then we’ll keep adding more and more items until by about January 2023 you’ll be able to edit and change nearly every single thing

[11:19 – 11:51] SPEAKER_00: on your solo platform and in your solo proposal in a matter of seconds yourself, which is going to be really, really awesome. So if we click on our side menu and come down to the company section, this is where all of the different items that do affect a solo account live. We’ll see first things first, we have self-service. With this, there are some companies that have one account and some companies that have multiple accounts. So you’ll see with mine, I have my Demo Wilson, but I also have a couple child accounts or sub accounts and then I have a little sandbox that I

[11:51 – 12:22] SPEAKER_00: made as well. I’m going to click on Demo Wilson because that’s my main account and the one I want to edit for this example. I’ll click on finance options and then we’ll go ahead and let this load. So with this one here we’ll go ahead and click on sunlight and what we’ll do is we’ll kind of take a look at this. So if we wanted to and let me go ahead and we’ll kind of make sunlight top really quick here. So with Sunlight Financial, what we’ll do is we’ll see that with these loan options, now as a company admin or owner, again, what we’re calling operators, you can change anything

[12:22 – 12:50] SPEAKER_00: and everything that you want to. So if I want my 10 year to be the first option, I can do that. If I want to move this 15 year to be my second option, I can do that. If I want to actually inactivate a finance option and remove it from the proposal, I can do that. And you can also set a kind of in the future, I want this loan option to come live on the 20th. Great. And it will say that’s going live or I can make it live as of today. That’s all available to be done right herefrom this portal.

[12:51 – 13:12] SPEAKER_00: even more so than that is some clients like to add additional, and we’ll go ahead and click on, we’ll do mosaic on this one. We’ll say that. We have these disclaimers here and these are custom disclaimers. A lot of them are given to us by the lender. So there is default mandatory information that solo does have to display on this because the lender wants us to.

[13:12 – 13:37] SPEAKER_00: There’s a regulated industry. It’s one of those things we’re all aware of, and we need to follow the rules on that. But what you can do is if you actually click on this pencil here, this will give you even more control over your finance options. So right now, we’ve got the Sunlight 10-year 1.99. You can actually wipe that out, and I’m going to copy that and save that, But we could say super duper sunlight 1.99% loan.

[13:38 – 13:52] SPEAKER_00: I could change that. I could redirect my portal link anywhere I wanted. I can update my dealer fees to what the dealer fees need to be. I can say this is live since this date. I could expire this and say, hey, as of December 1, go ahead and take it off of my proposal.

[13:52 – 14:11] SPEAKER_00: I can also say, you know, this loancomes with a, you know, $1,000 rebate from Super Duper Solar. You can put all of this in there and even go to advanced settings and say, I want this to be live in Alabama, and I want it to not be live in, we’ll say, Alaska.

[14:12 – 14:27] SPEAKER_00: Hit update, and now all of that will change. And as soon as your reps request a proposal, that will all display that brand new information about the SuperDuper Sunlight 1.99% loan. So this is a whole new level of control with these loan options.

[14:27 – 14:39] SPEAKER_00: And then, of course, there’s two little surprises down here. You’ve got the view example proposal, which you can go ahead and click on. You’ll notice here that it says staging, which means it is a sample or fake proposal.

[14:39 – 15:10] SPEAKER_00: As I come down here, let’s go ahead and make sure this works. I’m going to go to Sunlight and click on myare savedthis and that will show the new display name and it should show the new disclaimer as well, if it doesn’t that would be a bummer for me and we’ll have to get that figured outoh I know why let me change one more thingis live

[15:11 – 15:23] SPEAKER_00: let me change this to the third. Actually, let me go back in time, because this demo proposal was created a long time ago. Update that, save that.

[15:24 – 15:37] SPEAKER_00: This doesn’t work, it means I don’t know how to use the tool, so we’ll just hope this one works. But what that does do is it gives you the staging proposal. We’re going to be able to check that out and able to see these loan options. So I’ll see what’s going on with that, but that should allow you to see that right there.

[15:37 – 15:49] SPEAKER_00: and then what you should be able to do, oh, I know why. See, this is me not paying attention. So this one’s in Utah. So this is a Utah address and I made this one available only in a certain state.

[15:49 – 16:05] SPEAKER_00: So let’s do this and we’re going to exclude this, exclude this, and we’re going to make it live in all states. Now we should see the super duper loan pull up seeing as this is a Utah address and then we can see that custom disclaimer.

[16:06 – 16:20] SPEAKER_00: If it doesn’t show up, that means I’m out of guesses, but luckily it did. So note to yourself, make sure you pay attention to the states. So you can see that I have my custom disclaimer in here. If I go into my pricing, I’ve got my custom dealer fee that I put in there.

[16:21 – 16:37] SPEAKER_00: All of it works, updates, and now I see that this is what the staging proposal looks like. You’re comfortable pushing this live to your reps, and then you can go ahead and, again, make those changes by yourself. And then the other surprise here are these change logs is this is where you can see the user on your account that made changes to the loan.

[16:38 – 16:50] SPEAKER_00: So, for instance, October 6th, obviously today at 1121, this loan we added to the dealer fee. The solo admin is my user. It’s my account. But if I click view changes, I’ll be able to see that I added all of these states.

[16:51 – 17:05] SPEAKER_00: I added to the dealer fee and then I deleted the Alaska state, which you saw me just do. So this will show you all of the changes that are happening on these loans so that as an operator for an account, you can have way more control over your account solo.

[17:05 – 17:18] SPEAKER_00: So we’re super, super excited about that. And again, as we keep moving on, you’ll see panels, you’ll see inverters, you’ll see adders, you’ll see proposal theme, you’ll see more and more coming live with the self-service finance portal.

[17:19 – 17:34] SPEAKER_00: I’m going to jump in really quick and check on the questions. So we have a question from Caleb Bennett really quick. Anytime I used Sinova on solo, I had different monthly payment amounts. For example, a federal tax credit, month 1 through 18 at $81, and month 19 through 300 at $78.

[17:34 – 17:46] SPEAKER_00: Do you know why this happens? There’s a couple things, Caleb. So the most often I see this, and I’ll kind of show you on a screen share, is if you are on a – and this one is, like I said – let’s actually go to this one.

[17:46 – 18:01] SPEAKER_00: This one’s better. We’ll find one that’s not a demo proposal with this crazy savings. This one will work for us. So this one kind of points that out, which Caleb is saying, was where your months 2 through 18 is one number, and then your post-amortization is a different number.

[18:02 – 18:12] SPEAKER_00: What typically happens is it’s a state tax credit or referral from this section here. So if you have an incentive or a rebate on there, it will decrease this number.

[18:12 – 18:27] SPEAKER_00: So the moment I apply that, it takes off that amount. Now, you can obviously just check these off, and it will level those payments. If you go into your side menu and go to incentives, this will also give you even more control to hide or show incentives.

[18:27 – 18:40] SPEAKER_00: So, for instance, if I wanted to take off the AZ tax credit, I could click on hidden. If I wanted to give them, say, you know, 500 bucks for referral, I could do that. Click on update and then we’ll see that this updates immediately to that info.

[18:40 – 18:51] SPEAKER_00: So you are able to make these changes in real time. And again, you can manage them by checking them on and off in this area. and you’ll see that taking off your 30% credit will also affect that clearly.

[18:52 – 19:10] SPEAKER_00: You can then go back into incentives and you can choose which ones you actually want to show and which ones you do not want to show to kind of clean up that proposal and control the conversation with the homeowner. Eve Lopez, I noticed the option to set an account customer is inactive, but is there an option to delete a customer completely?

[19:10 – 19:21] SPEAKER_00: So right now there’s not an option to delete a customer entirely out of the database. That is something that company owners have not wanted to kind of delete any of the leads or any of the information out of there.

[19:22 – 19:32] SPEAKER_00: If there is for some reason one that you really wanted to delete, what I might suggest is just changing the name to something alphanumeric and something that will just kind of not show up in any search results.

[19:33 – 19:51] SPEAKER_00: If all else fails, there’s probably a way to do it through the back-end database, but it’s not something that we really want to do. That would be something, Eve, if you do have contact with the proposal support team or an account manager, send them that question and let’s see if we can come up with a solution for that and kind of detect what the use case is there.

[19:52 – 20:18] SPEAKER_00: From Jessica, last question, and then I’ll kind of jump back into some more new items. From Jessica, there is a first responder credit. Is that in all states? So with the credits that are on a proposal and I go back to this one here So these incentives and rebates they are entirely customized to your account Just like everything else with Solo, if you want to add custom incentives, custom pages, whatever you want to do, it’s all available to you.

[20:18 – 20:31] SPEAKER_00: Just email us and we’ll put that in there for you and then you have control over those items. So the real answer, Jessica, is no. This is a custom incentive that I put on my demo proposal. but if you email us, we can add this to your proposal.

[20:31 – 20:44] SPEAKER_00: We can default it to be off. And then if you do speak with a first responder, you can just unhide it and say that’s worth $1,500 off. I have, I guess, a value on that one from back in the day.

[20:44 – 20:55] SPEAKER_00: We’ll say it’s 500. I’ll click on update and then that will show up. So you can customize all of those items. Okay, let’s dive into a few more things.

[20:55 – 21:10] SPEAKER_00: So another thing that Solo is working on is one of the things that we’re aware of is how can we get you your proposals faster? So if you didn’t know, Solo, probably in about February or March of this year, we came out with what we call the pre-posal.

[21:11 – 21:24] SPEAKER_00: So the pre-posal is an answer to giving you an immediate educational pitch deck. You can just call it a pitch deck, sales slicks, whatever you want to call it. We found out that a lot of people were educating outside of Solo while they were waiting for the proposal.

[21:24 – 21:37] SPEAKER_00: So what we wanted to do is as soon as you click submit, give you a custom built pitch deck or presentation tool to then educate the homeowner with. And built into that are a lot of different kind of clicks and toggles and tools that you can use to really educate the customer.

[21:38 – 21:54] SPEAKER_00: So the proposal will look just like this. Let me go up here to this proposal. And what it has is a bunch of custom pages. Now, what’s so important to know about this is that these pages are all able to be customized by the company.

[21:54 – 22:06] SPEAKER_00: So these are all just in here as an example. We don’t want you to necessarily use these pages. We just wanted to show you what is available for you to use and how that could look.

[22:06 – 22:21] SPEAKER_00: In addition to these pages being able to be kind of scrolled down and you can discuss the value of solo, you know, is it rent versus own? Are you talking about traditional power production and how, you know, fossil fuels are adding to climate change?

[22:21 – 22:40] SPEAKER_00: You know, whatever the pitch is that you’re focusing on, this deck can be built around reinforcing your value add. So when it comes time and you scroll down to the actual design itself, you’re showing them the solution to the problem or the solution to the value add that you’ve created with them and going through that kind of top of the deck proposal.

[22:40 – 22:52] SPEAKER_00: So the other thing you have in here, and let me go ahead and make sure that’s muted. Great. is you can show them how different aspects of solar work. You know, if we’re mapping out a roof and we lay panels and then there’s sun, great, that’s going to hit and that will go into the home.

[22:52 – 23:06] SPEAKER_00: You can show them how the power grid is going to work, how it will export their power during the day. They send it to the utility company and then as the sun sets, we’re going to see that power come back to the home at night to help turn on the lights and keep the power running.

[23:06 – 23:20] SPEAKER_00: So you can show them all of these things in real timeshow them the effects of weather. So sorry if this is redundant, but I know there are still not a lot of companies that have utilized the proposal to start educating prior to getting the proposal.

[23:20 – 23:49] SPEAKER_00: And there’s also not a lot of use right now on our page manager, which is another thing I want to touch on very quickly before diving into what we’re building next. So the page manager is really, really cool in the sense that as you’re a sales rep and as you’re in the homes, you know better than anyone that, you know, John Doe might want to buy a battery with his solar, and Jane Doe might not care, and maybe they want to just talk about different adders such as home automation or security systems.

[23:49 – 24:01] SPEAKER_00: Customers and homeowners want different things each pitch. What you don’t want is a giant proposal that will just show them everything, and then you spend all this time talking about an item they might not want or be interested in.

[24:01 – 24:12] SPEAKER_00: You also don’t want certain things to be a distraction to where you can’t focus and dial in on the pitch that you want to give and the value add that you want to provide to get the customer to a nice sizable system.

[24:13 – 24:25] SPEAKER_00: So what we did was we give you the ability to add as many custom pages to the proposal as you want. You can add in home automation, security, pretty pictures of post installs, site survey information.

[24:25 – 24:42] SPEAKER_00: You can add in all of those pages, and then the best part is in your right menu under Page Manager. You as a sales rep interacting with the homeowner, you’ll be able to click in here, and you’ll be able to choose in the proposal, in your sales pitches, and in the proposal itself, which pages you actually want to show.

[24:43 – 24:54] SPEAKER_00: So, for instance, I’ll come down here, and I have my solar design, and then I have my utility graph, and we’ll say the savings page and the facts page. For some reason or another, I don’t want to show it.

[24:55 – 25:09] SPEAKER_00: Great. I can click into here, go to my page manager, go to the proposal. You can go to the analysis page and I believe the long-term savings and the environmental facts page. Click on save and now those pages are no longer in my proposal.

[25:09 – 25:28] SPEAKER_00: I’ll go right from the finance options to my process page, to the FAQ page, and then down to my very last page. If you want to add them back, it’s as simple as going back to the page manager, clicking on proposal, seeing what pages you do have available to include and then toggling them back in, clicking save.

[25:29 – 25:57] SPEAKER_00: And here we go. Your pages are back in. So this again, Solo has always been a rep centric company where we care about the sales rep first and what their experience in the home is and what experience you’re able to provide the homeowner you’re speaking with. So we’re a very environmentally conscious industry. We care about our homeowners. We care about the environment. We care about things like this. And that’s why Solo has built a tool that allows you to do anything and everything youwant to make sure you’re providing the best experience.

[25:58 – 26:30] SPEAKER_00: to check the questions really quick. And then what I want to do is kind of give you a little bit more about what Solo is building. That’s going to help fuel the next kind of next several quarters of what we’re doing. I do have a couple of questions here from Sam Yui. What’s the direct email to have incentives added? The best email is if you have an account manager, and I’ll put this in the chat. If you have an account manager, you do want to contact your account manager. If you do not, or you don’t know who they are, just email proposalsupport at gosolo.io. And you can say, hey, please help me

[26:30 – 26:50] SPEAKER_00: with this. If I do have an account manager, just let me know who it is, loop them into this email. And then they can do that or else proposal support can help you and they can get you set up. But again, custom pages, adding incentives, you know, you can reorder your pages, you can change your logo. You can do so many things with the proposal, and we’d love to see more customizationwith the proposal as well.

[26:52 – 27:22] SPEAKER_00: Eve Lopez. Are all of those features available to any rep with a solo login, or is this up to who gives the rep access to their solo? That’s a great, great question, Eve. So a lot of the features are around the company owner and admin, or the operators as we call them. The operators decide what is available on a proposal and how it can be used. Now, what we find, though, is a lot of times the reps are the ones attending webinars and special education sections, and the reps often hear about new features and how they can be used before other

[27:22 – 27:41] SPEAKER_00: people. So this is where it’s very, very valuable for you to say, hey, I saw this feature on the webinar. I’d love to get it added to the proposal because I think it will help me sell more solar. And if you can provide that feedback, it creates this really good loop where we can always makesure you have the best information and the best tools in your solo portal.

[27:42 – 28:07] SPEAKER_00: mark that question as answer two. So yeah, so I want to talk just a few minutes really quick. I don’t want to take too much time in your day, but about some of the things we have coming up. So we are working on right now a whole new campaign around our accuracy. So that includes the 97% validated accuracy rate from DNV, SunPixel and how that works, direct design version one, direct design version two, which includes the fire setbacks and roof measurements to a degree.

[28:07 – 28:34] SPEAKER_00: All of those things we’ll be pushing out this quarter so you can see and start getting a feel for the next-gen technology that Solo has with our new production engine. Another thing we do that no one else is doing right now with your proposal is one of the most annoying things if you’re selling solar is wanting to change the design on a proposal and then having to wait 30 seconds to a minute for that design to tell you what’s going to happen.

[28:34 – 28:46] SPEAKER_00: What I mean by that is if I click on edit and I see up here in my details menu that I’ll collapse and expand for you, which if you click on toggles, shows you sun pixel as well as a clear roof glass mode.

[28:46 – 28:56] SPEAKER_00: Pretty neat. This will show you what your solar offset and your system size and payment are. Now, this one, for some reason, I’m not sure why this is showing zero. Let me click on this guy here.

[28:58 – 29:13] SPEAKER_00: What it can do is it will refactor that production in real time. So if I’m changing and I’ll click and drag and turn all of these off really quick, this is going to give me a quick little spin bubble. Five seconds later, less than that, actually, I have my offset, my system size, and my payment already figured out.

[29:14 – 29:27] SPEAKER_00: If I wanted to take off, we’ll say, you know, even more arrays. We’ll just take off that many. Three seconds later, you’ve got all of this done. So the whole point is that it’s very, very fast and works very, very well to get you that information as soon as possible.

[29:27 – 29:43] SPEAKER_00: So that’s something that we also, with the new SunPixel, is we internalized some of the production and some of the PVWATS library and the NREL system. We internalized that and built that on a faster mechanism so that you get better updates as you’re at the home with the homeowner.

[29:44 – 29:56] SPEAKER_00: So we’ve got that. Like I said, we’ve got the accuracy, 97% accurate from DMV, the push for SunPixel, and just ramping up how much total volume we see day by day, getting SunPixel quality imagery and production values.

[29:56 – 30:25] SPEAKER_00: We also are working on increasing the speed at which you get your proposals. So how can we cut down the design time so that when you request a real proposal you get it even faster and faster So right now we about 10 minutes and we want to cut that down as low as we can so that when you in a home you can request get your pre spend three to four minutes on it have your design and really move through that at a nice cadence and a nice speed. So again, you’re focusing on that experience with thehomeowner, which leads to buying decisions.

[30:26 – 30:36] SPEAKER_00: some additional, like I said, self-service items. Panels and inverters will be next, adders, and then we have the proposal theme. And then we have some other platform features coming out, such as inventory management.

[30:36 – 31:04] SPEAKER_00: We also have a different tool called warehousing where you can actually show items on the proposal and their distance from that warehouse. And that would work to say if I sell in Texas and in Florida and I have a distribution point of supply center in Dallas and one in Fort Lauderdale, I can set my perimeters around those locations, and every proposal created within the perimeter of those locations will show specific panels, inverters, and other items.

[31:04 – 31:16] SPEAKER_00: So it’s a way to maintain the integrity of the proposal and the accuracy immediately without too much work on the reps or any of the management. So I want to jump in. Are there any questions that you have?

[31:17 – 31:31] SPEAKER_00: I don’t have any more questions in the questions section, but please send any questions or any specific items you want to kind of jump into. And I’m happy to kind of go into any of those other questions. Another thing we’ll be launching here this quarter is going to be a new and improved help center.

[31:32 – 31:49] SPEAKER_00: Not only will it be a help center where you can find answers, videos, explanations, ways you can adapt and change the proposal, additional features, minimum max and limits. This will be a help center or a knowledge base that has truly everything there is to know about Solo and how you can use that to help maximize your sales.

[31:49 – 32:00] SPEAKER_00: But that will also include a new community where you’ll be able to chat and engage with everyone on the solo platform. You can talk about anything you want to talk about. It’s not going to be something that solo has a lot of hands in.

[32:00 – 32:10] SPEAKER_00: It’s going to be something that we just facilitate and set up. And we want the great minds of solar, which is all of you, to go in there, chat about things, create topics, and figure out how we can just accelerate the industry as a whole.

[32:10 – 32:27] SPEAKER_00: You’ll also have an ideas portal in there. And that is a way where you will have direct contact to the solo product team where you can say, I’d love to see this feature or this feature. And then you can upvote or downvote the features that you want to see that you feel like would best help you in your day-to-day business of selling solar.

[32:27 – 32:39] SPEAKER_00: So that’s something we’re also super excited about with the upcoming quarter and that launch. We did get a question here from Jeremy. And like I said, we’ll wrap up in about five minutes here, and then you’ll get the recording for this webinar.

[32:40 – 32:53] SPEAKER_00: But Jeremy said, yes, we’ll estimate near immediately, but will the inverter choices not update still until after exiting the window, creating a change of production or price from one within the edit window? I am not aware of it doing that, but I’d love to get more info on that, Jeremy.

[32:54 – 33:14] SPEAKER_00: If you want to reach out to our team, I’d love to get some examples of that and see kind of exactly what’s happening and how we can fix that. And if I’m understanding it correctly, it’s basically saying that if you edit the panels on the kind of edit screen, it’s not going to make the same change immediately, to the inverters until you save and exit, and then it finalizes that change.

[33:14 – 33:27] SPEAKER_00: That would be the first I’m hearing of this, but let’s dive into that a bit more and see if that’s something that is happening, and if it is happening, how we can get that fixed. Let me check through the Slack right here.

[33:34 – 33:46] SPEAKER_00: Todd asked in the chat, will there be an app? We are looking at an app. Right now, as everyone knows, we’re web-based. The web-based functionality gives you a lot of flexibility in how fast you can push and roll code.

[33:47 – 33:59] SPEAKER_00: So for those who don’t know, Solo actually pushes code twice a day, and that is just tons of updates and different features, bug fixes, text change, all kinds of things go into those roles. But we are looking at an app that is on the roadmap.

[34:00 – 34:14] SPEAKER_00: We’re probably still a ways out on that, so I’m not comfortable giving a timeline. But, yes, we are looking at apps for devices that would be native through the App Store. From Hector Gonzalez, is there a proposal template that could be used for training without having to create an actual client profile?

[34:15 – 34:25] SPEAKER_00: Yeah, definitely. So what I would recommend is I would pick a house that, you know, kind of a normal roof, so to say, just a pretty kind of basic roof, maybe two arrays, an A-frame, something like that.

[34:26 – 34:38] SPEAKER_00: You could pick any roof you want, but typically it’s easier if it’s just kind of an easier roof for new sales reps to understand what’s going on. But what you can do is make a proposal template, and then what you can do is you can grab that link and share it with new reps.

[34:38 – 34:50] SPEAKER_00: and they’ll be able to go in there and click around, kind of see how it works. They can do all the pricing adjustments, adders. They can do all that. So just create a demo one. Once you do that, name it, you know, demo, whatever you want to call it.

[34:50 – 35:04] SPEAKER_00: Share that link with people who need kind of trained on it, and they can use that. We’ll also, like I said, that solo certified site, solocertified.com, that’s an excellent resource for people looking to learn more about the solo proposal and platform and how they can use it.

[35:04 – 35:26] SPEAKER_00: But we’ll also be coming out with, like I said, that knowledge base, knowledge base slash help center, whichever word makes more sense to you. And then we’ll have the community and then we’ll have our ideas. So coming out this quarter, like I said, we’re trying to really ramp up all of the materials and resources that are available to platform users to ensure that they have the best experience possible on solo.

[35:26 – 35:43] SPEAKER_00: You can find the answers you need. You can learn how we can better solve the challenges you’re facing. There’s just a ton we’re working on. Another really cool thing I wanted to show you really quick that I think that as sales reps and as operators, you’ll have a lot of affinity for is the ability.

[35:43 – 35:56] SPEAKER_00: And let me find the right proposal here really quick. The ability to actually add. And this is something I actually just discovered the other day that I must have missed the release notes on that I think is extremely helpful is often you need extra links.

[35:56 – 36:06] SPEAKER_00: So let’s say, for instance, you know, I’m obviously David and I’m selling John Doe a solar system. Now, in my side menu, I obviously have pricing, adders, incentives, and so on and so forth.

[36:06 – 36:19] SPEAKER_00: All of the tools that Solo has given me is a sales rep that I can use to sell this system to John. But what you often need are additional resources or links that you click on. This could include maybe a link to your Google review page.

[36:19 – 36:34] SPEAKER_00: Maybe it’s a link to your website. Maybe it’s the site survey scheduling calendar. Maybe it’s a customer review on YouTube. There’s a ton of links that reps use that they really like to have organized when they’re pitching so that if the customer says, well, you know, is there anyone in my community who’s gotten solar?

[36:35 – 36:48] SPEAKER_00: Actually, there is. We have a YouTube video from someone right over here in this section of town. Let me show you. Those things are very, very helpful when you’re pitching homeowners. And so what we’ve done is in this side menu, you’ll see that I have added a few different items down here.

[36:48 – 37:04] SPEAKER_00: And these are just different links that you can add in and label whatever you’d like. So I think I linked this one to Solo Certified. but essentially this would allow you to click in this side menu, go down to site survey, and then whatever you have it linked to, it’s going to take you right to that link.

[37:04 – 37:16] SPEAKER_00: So now it’s a faster, more organized way to keep all of your additional links in one place in your presentation tool so that you’re not going anywhere else for it. You just say, hey, let me show you that really quick.

[37:16 – 37:34] SPEAKER_00: Boom. Now you’re there, and then you just simply pop back to your proposal and continue your pitch. So if you do have custom links that you want in your proposal, Give that feedback to your account owner or your admins, operators, and let them know, hey, it would be really great to have that site schedule and that review link on there.

[37:34 – 37:46] SPEAKER_00: Let them know, or even the referral form, anything you want. Let us know, and we can link it into your proposal so that you can have those quick access while you’re selling the homeowner. Go ahead and stop that sharing.

[37:46 – 38:02] SPEAKER_00: And I’m seeing, too, that there’s some questions in the chat, so give me just a moment as I kind of roll through some of these chats because some of them did not make it to the question sections.Caleb Bennett, when I lookdo not see request proposal or select custom pages.

[38:02 – 38:13] SPEAKER_00: Is that something I would message support to get added? So Caleb Bennett, if you are the company owner or the person who set up the account, reach out to your account manager or your onboarding specialist or proposal support.

[38:13 – 38:25] SPEAKER_00: Whichever part of kind of solo you’re in, if you’ve just signed up, you’ll have an onboarding specialist. If you’ve been here for a while, you’ll have proposal support or an account manager. But when you do that, there’s no extra buttons for a proposal.

[38:25 – 38:43] SPEAKER_00: You just request it, and boom, it’s ready right away. So it just automatically does it if we have that feature turned on for you. So if you’re not the owner of the account and you’re a sales rep, just reach out to your account admin and say, hey, I learned on the webinar today that we can add as many custom pages as we want, custom links, custom incentives and rebates.

[38:44 – 38:58] SPEAKER_00: Oh, and there’s an instant deliverable proposal that we can add as well. Let’s get those things added, and we can get that done for you as soon as today. Jeff asked if there’s a recording. Yes, there’s going to be a recording sent out, so you’ll receive that here shortly once we wrap things up.

[39:00 – 39:11] SPEAKER_00: Thanks, Eve. Awesome. Well, those are some of the kind of the hot button items that we wanted to touch on. So, like I said, you’ll get this recording, and I appreciate everyone’s time in being here and joining us for this webinar.

[39:11 – 39:22] SPEAKER_00: Like I said, we like to do these recaps just to make sure everyone has a chance to come here and hear about this live. They can ask questions and engage to make sure they’re learning about all of the new tools and features that Solo has to offer.

[39:23 – 39:34] SPEAKER_00: As always, if you have questions, reach out to proposal support. Reach out to your account manager. Reach out to your onboarding specialist, whoever you’re currently interacting with, depending on your stage of time of where you’re at with the company.

[39:34 – 39:47] SPEAKER_00: And we’d be more than happy to help you. Request screen shares from us, trainings. Use Solo Certified. We’ll have the new help center coming out. Tons of new things. So don’t be afraid to lean on us for help with what you’re facing.

[39:47 – 39:58] SPEAKER_00: And we’d be more than happy to help you out however we can. So as always, it’s good to talk to everyone. You’ll receive this recording within the next 10 minutes or so. And then we will have that up on the solo certified site as well for you.

[39:58 – 40:04] SPEAKER_00: But like I said, call us, give us a shout, let us know what we can do better. We always love the feedback and we’ll talk to you soon.
