Jeremy Smith is an accomplished entrepreneur.
A veteran in the renewable energy sector.
With a degree in accounting and a passion for innovation, before he even cofounded Solo, he had already managed a 500MM portfolio and sold his first startup to the world’s largest renewable energy developer at the time after already attracting seven term sheets in less than two years from launch.
The entrepreneurial spirit didn’t stop there.
The serial thrill seeker co-founded another solar venture and then spun off a software company we all know as Solo.
Jeremy is a revolutionary in solar and his impact on the industry immeasurable.
He has played a critical role in architecting proprietary processes and pioneering resources that have enabled the solar industry to scale to new heights.
His commitment to making the world a better place have earned him widespread recognition, including awards from Ernst and Young, Inc 5000, Fortune, and more.
What truly sets Jeremy apart is his love for people and his love for family.
Jeremy would tell you that if he can do it, you can too. But that would mean you would have to live both fearlessly and faithfully. And that’s not for the faint of heart!

David Wilson is a results-driven leader.
He lives for the face-paced, dynamic and competitive challenges in business. If he wasn’t in solar software, he’d be on wallstreet.
Today, David oversees a diverse range of teams, including marketing, sales, onboarding and success. However his journey with Solo began when it was in its infancy.
Prior to the startup days, his passion for the financial marketplace led him to Fidelity after earning a degree in international economics from Weber State University.
David’s insatiable work ethic has been an indispensable force in building Solo’s sales team and implementing streamlined processes for onboarding and most importantly, customer success.
His contributions have helped solidify Solo as an industry leader.
It’s easy to assume David’s calloused fingertips are the marks of a tireless keyboard workhorse. But oh, how appearances can deceive! Those are the scars from rocking, riffing and shredding on six strings. Yep, he loves the guitar… that’s his kind of “solo”.

Krystal Arnett is an experienced professional in the field of Human Resources
With a strong background in education and a non-traditional path to HR, Krystal’s journey to her current role has been marked by determination and a passion for making a positive impact on people’s lives.
Krystal attended Valparaiso University, where she pursued a double major in secondary education and history, as well as minors in political science and psychology.
In HR, Krsystal became very active in employee advocacy and fighting for fair and equitable treatment. This passion for fairness and making a positive impact on employee lives has become a central theme in Krystal’s approach to HR.
Her philosophy in HR and life is inspired by a quote from Ronald Reagan: “We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone.” She believes in the power of kindness and strives to create a positive impact on the lives of employees, even if it’s just one person at a time.
Krystal is a dedicated HR professional with a passion for making a difference in people’s lives. .

His journey, spanning Ed Tech, Marcom, and Renewable Energy, has seen him steer the Customer Success departments of five distinctive companies.
In Ike’s view, true Customer Success merges experience and outcomes, a belief stemming from his unwavering principles of humility, empathy, kindness, and perseverance.

Rachel Rowan Roberts is the perfect blend of professionalism and kindness.
A polished marketer with incredible people skills, passion for proactivity, and deep commitment to team.
She obtained her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Idaho State University and later pursued a Master’s on full scholarship.
Rachel has held marketing and sales positions at Real Salt Lake, Loveland Innovations, JobNimbus and Arbitersports.
Both inside and outside the organization, relationships, friendships and partnerships come naturally to Rachel.
In her leisure time, she finds joy in spending quality moments with her family, exploring new trails, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
The best way to describe her is like this: You can take the girl out of California – But you can’t take the California out of Rachel! (She loves the sun. Even if it’s not in her hometown.)

Landon Anderton brings technical visions to life through engineering creativity and software solutions.
They say that a mother knows best, and for Landon, it couldn’t have been any truer as his very own mom taught the first coding class he ever attended.
Years later with a scholarship to do anything engineering related, when two roads diverged in college orientation between computer science and computer engineering, Landon chose the one less traveled. (ie: the shorter, harder line).
And that has made all the difference.
After graduating from the University of Utah in computer engineering, Landon proved himself in aerospace and defense with L-3 Communications before venturing into the startup scene with Scan, which was later acquired by Snapchat.
Following his time at Snapchat, he cultivated a passion for clean energy and the potential of technology to improve the world.
This ultimately led him to Solo, where he found an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to a growing company.
Today Landon continues to be a pathfinder, choosing paths and visions to bring to life that change the world for good.

Nate Dunham is a veteran in the solar energy industry. With over ten years of experience in solar operations, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his current role.
Nate’s career in solar began in 2014 when he joined Evolve, a company that was later acquired by SunEdison.He played a crucial role in building the operations side of Evolve alongside the company’s founders.
This experience fueled his passion for solar and operations, setting him on a path of continued success in the industry.
Nate has led field operations, support teams, workforce expansion, software implementation and streamlining business activities.
Throughout his career, Nate’s focus has always been on building strong teams and fostering a positive and engaging work culture.
He believes that a company is only as good as its people and has been instrumental in creating a supportive and fulfilling work environment at Solo.

Derek’s career in sales began while he was pursuing his education at the University of Utah and turned into his professional passion while working in B2B sales for Verizon.
He has experienced two pivotal moments that shaped his professional development.
The first occurred during his time at Verizon, where he excelled as a sales representative and was introduced to the role of a trainer. This experience taught him how to coach and develop individuals, which sparked his interest in sales leadership.
The second moment came when Derek implemented the MedPAC sales methodology at T-Mobile and later at Zoom. This approach focuses on the discovery process, identifying decision makers, understanding competitors, and addressing customer pain points.
Derek has grown in his career, acquiring leadership positions and gaining expertise in sales processes within various companies.
His results-oriented approach, combined with his talent for leading, being inquisitive, and driving next steps shapes his leadership.
Derek’s dedication to driving sales growth and cultivating successful sales strategies make him a valuable member of the Solo family.

Daniel Clyde Carr is the General Counsel at Solo, overseeing all legal matters and working closely with departments such as HR, Board of Directors, CTO, and CFO. He is responsible for compliance, finances, and operational contract management.
His career path took an unconventional route. He studied accounting at BYU and worked as an accountant for IBM. However, during his MBA program at the University of Notre Dame, he felt compelled to pursue law. This led him to change his career trajectory and attend law school.
After completing his MBA, Daniel joined Novell, a software company, where he held a hybrid legal-commercial role. This experience allowed him to blend legal expertise with business knowledge. He later worked in the energy industry for ExxonMobil before returning to Utah and assuming his current role at Solo.
Throughout his career, Daniel has seen himself as a business person with legal expertise, offering a unique problem-solving perspective. His ability to connect different disciplines and industries has been valuable in his professional journey.
