Because accuracy depends heavily on the design process. Solo’s guarantee applies only to projects that go through our internal Design Verification workflow, where trained designers follow standardized processes and quality checks.
When designs are created outside that workflow, there are simply too many variables outside our control—such as the experience of the designer, training, and the process used to validate the system. The guarantee only works when the inputs are controlled.
The guarantee covers the cost of proposal for projects created through Solo’s internal design verification workflow for approved lenders.
If a project encounters an accuracy issue caused by Solo that prevents financing approval, we will prioritize correcting the design immediately. If the issue cannot be resolved and the deal is lost because of it, we refund the cost of the design and proposal.
No. The guarantee applies specifically to design and production accuracy as it related to financing approval. The refund is limited to the cost of the design and proposal per your specific proposal volume tier.
Permitting requirements, AHJ interpretations, equipment substitutions, and installation practices vary widely and are outside the scope of the design guarantee.
If an issue related to Solo’s design accuracy is identified, our team immediately prioritizes fixing the design so the deal can continue moving forward. The goal of the guarantee isn’t to refund projects, it’s to protect the deal and keep it moving, however because of the guarantee we will still honor our promise and refund the cost of the design and proposal for that job/project (only one refund allowed per job).
No. The guarantee is available to all Solo customers, regardless of project volume, as long as the project goes through the Design Verification workflow.
Today the guarantee applies to proposals and projects designed through Solo’s Design Verification workflow with supported financing partners, including LightReach with GoodLeap in the final stages of implementation and with additional partners coming soon.
